I dreamt of a different India.

I dreamt of a country that respected the diversity of the people, of cultures, of languages, of religions!

I dreamt of a country that had brave and valuable leaders, just like how I learnt about hundreds in history who trusted their descendants to keep up the values, who earned us the freedom we enjoy today.

I dreamt of a country that stood in solidarity with the voices of the common man.

I dreamt of a country where the oppressed are given a chance to rise.

I dreamt of a country that I would be proud to live in, forever!

I dreamt a lot more!

Would the dreams I weaved just remain as “dreams” alone?

I just don’t have an answer to that!
