A CUP OF MOTIVATION

This is an open letter to all my friends who have repeated for one whole year with the aim of cracking NEET to pursue their dream of becoming a doctor.

Dear aspiring friend,

With just a month more for NEET exam, most of you would be working really hard, to the best of your abilities. But there are certain times when we feel terribly down by studying constantly and we keep searching for some kind of motivation from the people around us. It is during such moments that we feel fed up with just the tiring company of books and guides.

Remember, even if there is no one around to lift you up during such moments, YOU should be your constant motivation. The inspiration that comes from within is the best instrument that wakes you up from the pangs of depression. Keeping up the spirit within yourself and working for your dream can be a bit tiring. I know that it might be quite effortless to put all thoughts and theories into words but to practice it can be really hard at times. But it is the end result of all the effort that should be your inspiration. You are already half way through the attempt, by sacrificing one whole year for your dream to come true. And the last step towards your goal is the exam. You have got to crack it. At times of despair, remember that your parents will always stand by you. Your perspiration should ultimately bring them joy and satisfaction.

All the effort you have put is to benefit not only you but the society on the whole. Wondering how that can happen? My friend, a good DOCTOR is an asset for the society. Your achievement gives the society the service of a good DOCTOR.  Especially in today's world when we hear a lot of events concerning the misconduct of doctors, YOU ARE OUR HOPE! In future, your work will be valuable for all of us. You get the trust of thousands of people and your work gives a soothing for an ailing heart. It is known to all of us that nothing in this world can be achieved effortlessly. We can reach our destination only if we thrive hard for it.

Imagine your first class sitting in a huge government college building. Think of how proud your parents would be. Think of all the wonderful moments being a medical student. I remember listening to the story of how my brother cracked his entrance exam, repeating for 2 consecutive years. He even showed me a small notepad in which he had scribbled a self motivating message. The note ended by the driving words that has inspired me always. He writes- "All the cells in my body is having the strong desire of success".
This is the inspiring note written by my brother just before his medical entrance exam, many years back

Have you thought about things in such a way? Well, try making such positive thoughts the spirit for working with all your power and might. Make the upcoming exam your space where you exhibit all your competitiveness. This is your moment, where everything else is of less importance. All that matters is the exam. And above all, keep faith in the creator who decides our destinations. No matter how hard things are, keep in mind that- "Hard work pays off". Just hope for the best. Wishing you all the good luck!

With prayers,
A confident friend☺️❤️
